kant.dev is my professional site. The first version went live in 2022; I rebuilt it in 2026 as a static Astro site.
What it does
It hosts the client-facing site: work pages, case studies, blog posts, and a small set of tools. The public site is static HTML served from Nginx via a Docker image on Coolify.
What I learned
For a content-heavy site, shipping less JavaScript mattered more than keeping the old React setup. The rewrite made the site simpler to maintain and faster to serve.
